Hello, global explorers! Welcome back to Kiki's Paw Prints.
It’s your elegant, Hanbok-wearing feline guide, Kiki 🐾.
Today, my whiskers are tingling because we are exploring Subway Line 7 (The Olive Green Line)!
If you want a single subway line that shows you exactly how Seoul’s youth play, how the wealthy live, and where the ultimate bargain hunters shop, Line 7 is your magical ticket. It crosses directly over the beautiful Han River, connecting the vibrant university districts of the north to the ultra-luxurious neighborhoods of the south.
Let’s follow my paw prints to discover the ultimate spots on the Olive Green Line!

📌 Why Visit
Known locally as "Kondae," this area is brimming with the youthful energy of Generation Z. Right in front of the station, you'll find a plethora of popular restaurants and atmospheric bars. Also located here is Common Ground, Korea's first and largest pop-up shopping mall, which is constructed entirely of bright blue shipping containers. It is a must-visit spot if you want to go street fashion shopping and take stylish Instagram photos!

🐾 Kiki’s Subway "Pro-Tips" for the Olive Green Line
To travel Line 7 like a true 2026 Seoulite, keep these tips in your pocket:
- The Jayang Station Name Change: Don't get confused if older travel blogs mention "Ttukseom Resort Station." As of 2024, it is officially named Jayang (Ttukseom Hangang Park) Station (Station 728).
- Surviving the Terminal Maze: Express Bus Terminal is massive and intersects with 3 different subway lines. If you get lost, look at the floor! There are color-coded lines painted on the ground to guide you to your desired exit or transfer line.
- The Han River Crossing: When the train travels between Jayang (728) and Cheongdam (729), it crosses the Cheongdam Bridge above the water. Put your phone down and look out the window for a stunning view of the river!
